Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to enjoy his early experience with the Miami Heat, with the atmosphere inside the organization making a strong impression on him.
The 31-year-old highlighted the level of commitment, communication and unity he has encountered since joining Miami.
One recent team meeting particularly stood out, as the Heat brought in two Navy SEALs to speak to the players and take part in an unusual team activity.
“The Togetherness. How serious they are. Communication. Yesterday, we had a meeting. It was probably one of the most exciting, entertaining meetings.
“There were two Navy SEALs, and they were telling their story, and we were doing push-ups and sh*t.
“It’s real, and I love every f—ing second of it. I’m not even gonna lie. It gives me goosebumps. It’s almost like being alive again.”
