Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jarred Vanderbilt is having a breakout season in his first year as a full time starter.

Since becoming a permanent starter back on November 12th, he’s averaged an efficient 7.5 PPG/10.2 RPG/1.8 SPG/61.7% FG in 32 starts.

Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups had quite the praise for Vanderbilt following his big night (13 points/13 rebounds/6 assists/2 steals/1 block) on Tuesday.

(Via Portland Trail Blazers):

“I thought Vanderbilt…it’s funny, I can remember coming in here the last time we played them and singing his praises. I thought he was the MVP of the game. His pressure, I thought he made it really tough for Anfernee. He just roams around, he gets offensive rebounds, he had 6 assists in this game, 13 rebounds, steals, and blocks. He’s a very good player and I thought he had an impact on our game tonight, a big one.”
