The Minnesota Timberwolves visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, February 24, with tip-off set for 10:00 PM ET at Moda Center.

Minnesota enters the night at 35-22, sixth in the Western Conference, while Portland sits 10th at 27-30 and remains in the play-in race.

The Timberwolves list Naz Reid as questionable due to right shoulder soreness. Enrique Freeman and Rocco Zikarsky are out on G League two-way assignments.

Reid has played in 57 games and averages 14.3 points and 6.4 rebounds in 26.3 minutes. He is shooting 38.7% from three, which gives Minnesota spacing behind Rudy Gobert.

Gobert anchors the interior with 11.2 points and 11.3 rebounds per game while shooting 70.6% from the field.

Anthony Edwards continues to lead the offense at 29.5 points per game on 49.5% shooting. Julius Randle adds 22.1 points and 6.9 rebounds, giving the Timberwolves two primary half-court options.

Portland’s injury report is more extensive. Damian Lillard is out due to left Achilles tendon injury management, while Deni Avdija is sidelined for low back injury management.

Shaedon Sharpe will miss the game with a left calf strain. Caleb Love and Hansen Yang are out on G League assignments.

Avdija leads the Trail Blazers in scoring at 24.4 points per game and averages 6.6 assists. Sharpe contributes 21.4 points, and Lillard’s absence removes another perimeter creator.

Jerami Grant is averaging 18.5 points, and Jrue Holiday adds 15.5 points and 6.3 assists. Donovan Clingan controls the paint with 11.9 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.

The Timberwolves have won both previous meetings this season, 118-114 in Portland on October 22 and 133-109 at home on February 11.

Minnesota lost 135-108 in Philadelphia on February 22 after defeating Dallas 122-111 two days earlier. Portland defeated Phoenix 92-77 on Sunday following a 157-103 loss to Denver.
