Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups talked about rookie Shaedon Sharpe’s big night/development after Sunday’s 107-105 road win vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves (27 points/6 rebounds/6 assists/9-19 FG/2-7 3-PT/7-9 FT).

(via Portland Trail Blazers):

“I thought Shae was just aggressive, attacking. I thought that he didn’t get discouraged. There were some calls there that we thought that he could have gotten, but didn’t get. But he didn’t get discouraged, he kept playing, kept playing, didn’t cry to the officials, nothing. He just kept playing, which I loved, which I loved. I think Anthony Edwards is a big time defender, physical, can really guard, and then he’s going down the lane and Rudy [Gobert] is there waiting on him. Didn’t discourage him at all, he stayed aggressive. He’s just growing up, man, he’s just growing up, and it’s fun watching it.”
