Carmelo Anthony was happy with the comeback of the Lakers and the 121-116 road win over the Detroit Pistons.

The Lakers trailed by 17 in the game, but turned things around in the fourth quarter and went on to clinch a big victory. For his part, Anthony scored 18 points off the bench, on 5/8 from beyond the arc.

“We could have easily let the game slip away but we needed to come together at that moment. We needed something like that to spark our fire,” Carmelo Anthony told Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet. Thanks to their win, the Lakers snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 9-9.
