The Golden State Warriors are back as one of the top teams in the NBA. Led by Steph Curry, the Dubs have the best record in the entire league and are among the favorites to win it all.

A key aspect to the team’s success, according to Curry, is them making good shots even if they don’t go in as that demoralizes their opponents.

Via Michael Pina of Sports Illustrated:

“We obviously have a lot of shooting now, and even on a night where we don’t really shoot the ball particularly well as a team, we create great shots,” he says. “And that wears on the [defense], too. You see a guy wide open, it’s kind of demoralizing to see it in the air because you probably expect it to go in. Even if it doesn’t, that carries momentum into the next position, and the next possession.”

The Warriors currently have 12 wins and just 2 losses, as Curry is averaging 28.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game.
