Stephen Curry delivered a masterful performance as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 120-113 at Chase Center on Wednesday night. Curry finished with 31 points, seven assists, and seven rebounds, sealing the win with a step-back three-pointer with 26 seconds remaining.

Curry noted that maintaining low turnovers was critical: “It’s just being sure about your passes… trying to just play under control and just, as coach Kerr would say, hit singles, let everything kind of work itself out with good decision-making.”

The Warriors’ bench was instrumental in the win, with De’Anthony Melton scoring 22 points and Al Horford contributing eight points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Curry praised their impact: “Those two guys weren’t available much or at all early in the year… you can see how much of a difference they can make off the bench… and defensively, they both know what to do on that end.”

Curry reflected on the team’s three-point shooting, noting the importance of consistent looks for skilled shooters. “You’re only as good as the shots that go in… trying to create good shots, consistent good looks for good shooters,” he said. He highlighted Melton and Horford as examples of players finding their rhythm: “Melton’s a perfect example tonight… Al, same thing… I believe we’re a much better shooting team than we’ve shown this year so far.”

Regarding the Warriors’ eight-game home stand, Curry stressed focus and consistency. “It’s huge… the temptation is to relax or just show up and just because you’re at home feeling like you’re going to get a win. Thankfully, we should be mature enough to know we can do something about it with this stretch of games and just take it one game at a time.”

Curry also shared admiration for teammate Draymond Green, who played through a sprained ankle. “Draymond’s tough… for him in a regular season type of situation with a guy like Giannis on the other side to show up the way he did is unbelievable,” he said, noting the competitive spirit that drives the team.

The Warriors improved to 20-18 with the win, climbing closer to a playoff spot in the Western Conference. Curry emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum: “The more you win, the more everybody feels good, the more momentum you pick up, the vibes are immaculate.”

Golden State will host the Sacramento Kings on Friday to continue their home stretch, while the Bucks travel to face the Los Angeles Lakers.
