Toronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet was slapped by the NBA for doing a Sam Cassell infamous gesture against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.

Based on the official announcement of the league, an amount of $15,000 was penalized for VanVleet after doing the action.

In Raptors’ 115-109 road win against the Sixers, the guard had 32 markers, 7 assists and 6 rebounds — highlighted by a cold-blooded corner trey to lift his team to a four-point margin with less than 24 seconds to play. To do his very own celebration, the former Wichita State standout ran towards the Raps bench while doing the infamous “big balls” dance.

VanVleet even gave his honor ironically to the original proponent of the move postgame, who is currently Doc Rivers’ assistant coach in Philly.

The “big balls” move has been banned by the league since 2010 as it shows obscene gestures, wherein the actor could be possibly fined around $25,000.
