Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic spoke very highly about Scottie Barnes’ versatility after Thursday’s 132-126 road loss vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers (24 points/10 rebounds/8 assists/3 steals/11-20 FG/2-4 FT).
(via After the Buzzer):
“I’m gonna say it now, usually I do (a) pretty good job of seeing the future: I think Scottie, in this league, he’s gonna be a player who’s gonna be averaging double-doubles, and I can see Scottie a couple years from now down the stretch averaging a triple-double in this league. I can see him being that guy that he just fills the statline. He can rebound, he can pass the ball, and then he can score. So I think that he’s gonna become that at some point. So his contribution tonight to the team was great, proud of his effort. And congratulations for Cleveland for playing this great game.”
