Brandon Ingram: I think more than any NBA coach I’ve had, Darko’s communicating with me all the time

Here’s Toronto Raptors star Brandon Ingram on if he notices a different level of collaboration between the team and head coach Darko Rajakovic.

“Absolutely. I think more than any coach since I’ve been in the league, he’s communicating with me all the time. Like in real time, calling me on my phone. When I get to practice, he’s asking me what I think about certain things whether it’s offensively or defensively. He’s challenging me during practice. During my player development work, he’s challenging me. So, it’s constant communication. It’s not just on game day. It’s preparing for games. It’s practice days. His motto is getting 1 percent better every single day. So, our communication’s been great.”
