The new-look Los Angeles Lakers are yet to win a game after going 0-2 at the start of the regular season and 0-8 if preseason games are added. The regular season losses came against the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel talked about the two losses during a press conference. “We played two tough teams to guard that are connected with their systems,” he said. “We started pretty strong tonight [against the Suns]. We didn’t finish at the basket in the second quarter. and that led to run routs and that led them getting easy buckets.

“They’re a super sharp executing team. We knew the margin for error is going to be slim. We’re just disappointed that we’re not winning. That’s all. We still have a strong belief in who we can be and a lot of moves that we can make to get things going in the right direction.

“The frustration just around not winning again.. look, these are some of the greatest players ever to play because of their competitive spirit. If we don’t win, there’s going to be frustration.”
