FC Barcelona and Real Madrid again showed they are the best teams in the ACB at the moment.

The Catalans and the “Whites” earned impressive victories and remained undefeated in the league for another week.

FC Barcelona used an 11-21 run in the fourth quarter to rally past Betis on the road (61-78). The hosts stayed in the game for three quarters (15-19, 29-37, 50-57). Yet, the “Blaugrana” retained their lead and cruised to an easy win.

On the other hand, Real Madrid dominated Valencia at La Fonteta, thanks to an excellent performance in the fourth quarter. The multiple time ACB champions outscored the hosts 19-29 and sealed a comfortable victory (79-93).

FC Barcelona improved to 6-0 in the standings. Meanwhile, Real Madrid climbed to 5-0. Eight teams are behind the two powerhouses in the standings, having the same record (3-2).

The two EuroLeague giants now have their sights set in the first double-round week in the EuroLeague. FC Barcelona will play Olympiacos (home) and Monaco (away). On the contrary, Real Madrid will host Monaco and Panathinaikos. All games will take place on October 13 and 15.
