Bradley Beal is ready for a new challenge the upcoming season, hoping for a big improvement in his game. According to Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington, the Wizards superstar will work on his shooting.

Last season, he shot a career-low 34.9% from three and made just 2.2 threes per game. He finished with the second best scoring performance behind Stephen Curry, but, he wants to improve even more.

(Via Chase Hughes):

“Deeper threes. I’m not trying to compete with Dame [Lillard], I’m not Logo Lillard. But I want to shoot deeper threes and shoot more threes,” Beal said to NBC Sports Washington.

“You know I need to shoot more threes. You probably say it all the time. And, obviously, make them. I have to make them.”

The 28-year-old guard is going to be the centerpiece of Washington’s offense, and the main part of the team’s schemes in general.
