The Los Angeles Lakers are trying to sign another veteran free agent in Carmelo Anthony, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Per the NBA insider, the Lakers could make a decision on how they will proceed with Anthony as soon as today (August 3).
“One more player who they’re trying to sign and could decide as soon as today, Carmelo Anthony,” Wojnarowski said during his appearance on Get Up on ESPN.
Anthony spent the past two seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. Meanwhile, the Lakers have already signed Trevor Ariza, Dwight Howard and Kent Bazemore.
