Golden State Warriors will have to make tough decisions during this offseason as they are hoping to create a championship core around Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

According to Marcus Thompson of the Athletic, Curry, Thompson and Green told the Warriors’ management to use the two 2021 lottery picks to bring a veteran contributor to the team.

The top option for Golden State is expected to be Bradley Beal, if he asks out of Washington, per Thompson. The Warriors did not make the playoffs the last two seasons, after an incredible five-year run.

During those five seasons, Golden State won three NBA championships, having five consecutive NBA Finals appearances. Now, Curry and co. are hoping for at least one more Finals run as they are entering the late prime of their careers.

Bradley Beal led the Washington Wizards to the playoffs the past season, being one of the top scorers in the NBA the past few years.

Last season, Beal averaged 31.3 points per contest, shooting 48 percent from the field in 60 appearances. Beal could compliment Curry and Thompson, creating an unstoppable scoring machine in Golden State.
