The Golden State Warriors could pursue a blockbuster trade using their 2020 NBA draft pick (No.2) and Andrew Wiggins, per an NBA analyst.

According to Tom Haberstroh, the Warriors could put together a good package for the Washington Wizards superstar Bradley Beal.

“The Warriors certainly have the package to get the deal done,” Haberstroh told NBC Sports. “But I wonder if the Wizards want to see Brad Beal next to John Wall and potentially Davis Bertans and Thomas Bryant next season.”

The Warriors traded D’Angelo Russell for Andrew Wiggins back in February. Wiggins is a better fit than Russell for the “Dubs”, but Haberstroh believes that Beal could thrive along with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

“The Golden State Warriors would absolutely thrive with Brad Beal,” Haberstroh said when asked if the Wizards star is worth all of Golden State’s assets. “[He] is an amazing shooter and a guy that gets to the rack and gets free throws, kind of like James Harden, but just younger, I think that’s the ceiling you have.”

Golden State offensive firepower will be uncomparable in this scenario, but the trio of Curry, Beal and Thompson maybe will bring the Warriors’ perimeter upon defensive deficiencies and a lack of versatility, especially against bigger opponents.
