The superstar of the Atlanta Hawks Trae Young is the player who has been talked much about mostly from a negative side. Despite those talks, the 22-year-old point guard didn’t lose self confidence and ignored trash talks about him.

This is what Reggie Miller, the former superstar of the Indiana Pacers, said about Young: “It’s his confidence, that’s what I love most about him. People say borderline cocky. I don’t mind that. I like a guy who is confident in his skills,” he said, per Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today.

“People have got to understand (what) it takes to be not only a professional athlete. But the skillset Trae has – the shooting, the dribbling, the tear drops, the floaters, the runners – that’s countless hours in the gym. I respect that because I’ve been there. I know that. There’s a lot of sacrifice that goes into that. I like the ego that he has. It’s something that’s fun to watch.”

Young averaged 25.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 9.4 assists per game during the regular season. His number improved to 30.5 points, 3 rebounds and and 10.5 assists per game during playoffs. He helped the Hawks reach the Conference Finals and led the team with 48 points to a win over the Milwaukee Bucks to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
