FC Barcelona dominated Real Madrid in Game 1 of the ACB Finals at Wizink Center (75-89) and came a step away from winning the title.

After a hard-fought battle in the first half, the Catalans took control and never looked back. Thanks to a 17-0 run in the third quarter, they earned a double-digit lead that helped them cruise to the victory.

Cory Higgins scored a game-high 25 points for FC Barcelona, with 14 of them coming in the third quarter. On the other hand, Walter Tavares had 16 points and 11 rebounds for Real.

FC Barcelona now leads the series 1-0. If they win Game 2 on Tuesday, they will claim the title. If Real wins, though, they will force a must-win Game 3 (the final of the series) on Thursday.
