Kendrick Perkins made an interesting statement regarding the decision of Dennis Schroder to put an end to contract extension talks with the Lakers.
Perkins, a former NBA champion and current ESPN analyst, took to Twitter and said Schroder should have agreed to a long-term deal with the Lakers.
“Dennis Schroder should have taken whatever extension the Lakers offered him! Carry on,” Perkins tweeted.
Per reports, Schroder turned down a four-year, $84M extension offer from the Lakers in late March.
