The Los Angeles Lakers survived another late thriller against the Oklahoma City Thunder, earning the 113-114 victory in overtime.

This was the third straight game for the Lakers that was decided in overtime [Thunder (twice) and Pistons].

The last time the defending champions were forced to play three straight overtime games was back in 1991.

“The last time the Lakers played in three straight OT games was back in November of 1991, according to Lakers PR,” Ryan Ward of Lakers Daily reports.

The Lakers improved to 20-6, extending their winning streak to six games.
