LeBron James shared his thoughts on Kentavious Caldwell-Pope exiting the game against the San Antonio Spurs with an ankle injury.
James said he ‘hated’ to see Caldwell-Pope get injured and hopes the versatile guard will miss no time for the Lakers.
“His confidence is at an all-time high. He knows what his value is to this team…what he brings to our team is perfect in his role. A guy who is a catch-&-shoot 3-pt player.
Obviously, hated to see him go down tonight. … We should have him back in no time,” James said about Caldwell-Pope, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Daily.
For his part, Caldwell-Pope is hopeful he will be ready for the match against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.
