Kawhi Leonard once again opened up about having to wear a face mask due to the mouth laceration he suffered a few days ago.

Leonard said he does feel uncomfortable wearing a mask, but he is confident this will end soon.

“I don’t know how you get used to wearing something on your head. It is not something I want to do but I am trying to protect myself. It will be off soon,” Leonard told reporters, via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.

Wearing a mask did not prevent Leonard from tying his career-high in rebounds with 16 in the loss to the Utah Jazz (100-106). The superstar of the Los Angeles Clippers also had 20 points (8/19 shooting) and nine assists in the contest.
