Frank Vogel opened up about the plan of the Los Angeles Lakers regarding the closing lineup in the games.
Vogel said the team could use a lineup that includes LeBron James, Markieff Morris, Anthony Davis and two guards, just like they did last season.
“I asked Frank Vogel about him closing the game with [Anthony Davis], [Markieff Morris], [LeBron James], [Kentavious Caldwell-Pope] and [Dennis Schröder].
He said that formula — AD, Kieff and LeBron plus two guards — is proven after winning a championship, and it’s a grouping that he trusts and is confident in,” Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.
Vogel also noted the Lakers will keep using different lineups to close the games, until they find the best one.
