Kendrick Perkins had nothing but good words to say about the young star of the Boston Celtics, Jaylen Brown.

Perkins said Brown is the best player of the Celtics in the start of the NBA season.

“Tatum was a day 1 guy and Jaylen was the project. The project is now the product. The go to. The big show in Celtic nation. He has developed and has 0 flaws and is their number 1 guy! Carry on,” Perkins tweeted.

Brown went for a career-high 42 points against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday (126-107), on 15/21 shooting and 7/10 from beyond the arc.
