Jaylen Brown had a career night for the Boston Celtics in the game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.

Brown exploded and scored a career-high 42 points (15/21 shooting, 7/10 from beyond the arc), leading the Celtics to the 126-107 win.

After the game, Brown received high praise from Celtics teammate Jayson Tatum and head coach Brad Stevens.

“It’s amazing. Super happy for him, big night. He was on fire. If a guy’s hitting like that, it means you’ve got to keep feeding him,” Tatum told reporters, via John Karalis of Sports Daily.

“I just think he works hard at everything. He’s a good player. His finishing has improved so much since college, his shooting is probably not as highly thought of as it should have been coming out of the draft,” coach Stevens noted.

Brown is having a career year for the Celtics so far, averaging 28.0 points, on 56.3 percent field goal shooting and 44.0 percent three-point shooting, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.8 steals.
