Talen Horton-Tucker has a good chance to win the Most Improved Player of the Year award, according to an NBA scout.

Horton-Tucker was impressive for the Lakers in preseason and is expected to have more playing time this season.

“I don’t know if you are allowed, but put some money on Talen Horton-Tucker for Most Improved. He’s going to play a lot and he added a lot to his game since the start of his rookie year,” the NBA scout told Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports.

Horton-Tucker averaged 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in the four preseason games of the Lakers.
