Christian Wood had an impressive game against the San Antonio Spurs helping the Houston Rockets secure an easy victory.
The newly-acquired big combined for 27 points on a 10-18 shooting night, in Houston’s last preseason game ahead of the 2020/21 season start on Dec. 22.
Eric Gordon praised the promising center/forward after his impressive performance comparing him to Anthony Davis, according to Alykhan Bijani of the Athletic.
Wood also added 10 rebounds, two assists and one block for his team. The high-flying big played his first game with his new team registering 24 minutes.
