Doc Rivers made an interesting statement regarding his former player and superstar of the Los Angeles Clippers Paul George.

Rivers said some Clippers players in the locker room did not like George, who joined the team in the summer of 2019.

“The guys that were there the year before, honestly, didn’t accept at least one of the new guys. I thought they accepted Kawhi. If they don’t accept everybody, then you usually don’t win,” Rivers said, via ESPN.

Rivers and George recently started a beef, after George said Rivers used him as more of a spot-up shooter rather than an all-around player.

For his part, Rivers, who took over the Philadelphia 76ers, noted that George should not expect many adjustments, with Tyronn Lue (former Rivers assistant) being in charge.
