Spencer Dinwiddie wants to have a role similar to the one Draymond Green has in the Golden State Warriors.
Dinwiddie is expected to have a different role in the Brooklyn Nets this season, with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving back to the lineup and wants to be as valuable to the Nets as Green is to the Warriors.
“If we’re gonna liken ourselves to Golden State, the glue — the multipurpose utility guy,” Dinwiddie said, via Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News.
Dinwiddie was one of Brooklyn’s best players last season, averaging 20.6 points, 6.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds.
For their part, Green and the Warriors are expected to return to title contention next season.
