Caris LeVert believes the return to action of Kevin Durant is great news for both the Brooklyn Nets and the NBA.
LeVert shared his excitement for the opportunity to play alongside Durant, who is considered one of the best players in the league.
“It was good to see Kevin come back from a tough injury like that. I think that Kevin is right back where he was and I think everybody will see that. I’m excited.
I’m excited for him, I’m excited for everybody to get him back, because the game honestly wasn’t the same without him. I know he’s super-excited to get back to playing,” LeVert told reporters, per SNY, via Yahoo Sports’ Jack Baer.
With Durant and Kyrie Irving back to the lineup, the Nets are considered title contenders for the 2020/21 season.
For his part, LeVert was one of Brooklyn’s best players last year, averaging 18.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.2 steals.
