This week, LeBron James agreed to a two-year contract extension and Anthony Davis signed a five-year deal. With the exception of one title, all other Los Angeles Lakers championships have come in groups with no more than two years apart at a time. LeBron and Davis got their first one together a couple of months ago.

A former NFL tight end, who played for the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens, Shannon Sharpe discusses whether this is a start of another Lakers championship dynasty:

“A lot has to go your way. If LeBron was 32, there’s no question about it, they would 3-peat. But since he’s 36 and haven’t seen anything like this, there’s an 80% chance they win 3 titles in 5 years.”
