Doc Rivers opened up about the offensive plans of the Philadelphia 76ers for Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.
Rivers intends to rely on pick-n-roll in order to get the best out of his superstar duo.
“Doc Rivers said the 76ers will run more pick-and-roll offense with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. This is a huge win for Philly and kind of scary for the rest of the league,” Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports reports.
The Sixers were second to last in pick-and-roll percentage on offense, via Tom Haberstroh, and Rivers clearly wants to change that.
