The GM of the Golden State Warriors Bob Myers addressed the serious injury of Klay Thompson and what it means for the team’s plans.

Thompson got injured during a workout in Southern California on Wednesday and the Warriors fear the injury is serious.

Myers said the team’s plans will not undergo a drastic change, as we “needed wing depth anyway”, via The Athletic’s Anthony Slater.

The Warriors, who picked James Wiseman with the No.2 pick in the Draft, will be waiting for Thompson’ MRI results in order to see what they will do moving forward.

GSW was expecting Stephen Curry and Thompson to return to the roster 100% healthy and help the team return to title contention.

The Warriors were already considered one of the favorites to dethrone the defending champions, Los Angeles Lakers, according to the best online casino in Canada.

However, Thompson’s injury certainly changes the team’s plans in free agency, as Golden State is now trying to cover his void.

The moves the franchise will make in the coming days will determine how competitive the squad will be next season.

Certainly, the championship odds of the Warriors will drop, but the best payout online casino will offer its players the updated odds in order to make their best bet.

Thompson’s injury is devastating news for the Warriors, yet Curry and company are expected to fight tooth and nail to bring the franchise back to the top.
