The Los Angeles Clippers and Lou Williams are considered a ‘potential trade partner’ for the No.18 pick of the Dallas Mavericks.

As Jonathan Givony of ESPN reports, several teams want to trade for the pick of the Mavs and believe Williams and the Clippers can be a ‘potential trade partner’.

“Several teams are exploring making a trade with the Mavs involving this pick, with the Clippers and Lou Williams being a popular choice around the league as a potential trade partner,” Givony reports.

Williams, who averaged 18.2 points for the Clippers last season, is entering the final year of his contract and is due to earn $8M next season.

Dallas also owns the No. 31 pick in the Draft, which will take place this Wednesday, November 18.
