According to Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com, the Cleveland Cavaliers small forward Kevin Porter Jr. was arrested early Sunday morning in Mahoning County on gun charges.

“Mr. Porter was issued a summons for a petty offense and released,” his attorney Alex Spiro said in a statement emailed to the USA TODAY Sports. “We are gathering information and will have further comment at a later point.”

Porter Jr. was released Sunday on $4,000 bond.

Last season, the former 30th overall pick averaged 10.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, while shooting at 44.2 percent from the floor and 33.5 percent from three.
