Steve Kerr made an interesting statement regarding the 2020 NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers.

The head coach of the Golden State Warriors revealed he used to be a fan of the Lakers, but now he ‘can’t stand’ them.

“That was a team (the Los Angeles Dodgers) I cheered for. That stuff sticks with you. It just stays in your blood. Although, I will say I was a Laker fan for most of my childhood, and now I can’t stand them. So, things change,” Kerr said after casting his vote early at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Kerr and the Warriors have played in the NBA Finals five times in the last six years (2015-2019) and have won the title three times (2015, 2017, 2018).

Golden State and the Lakers are expected to be title contenders next season.
