James Harden is highly unlikely to part ways with the Houston Rockets, according to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon. Houston considers Harden the best player in league.

The Rockets saw changes in their back office with general manager Daryl Morey leaving the team to later join the Philadelphia 76ers. Head coach Mike D’Antoni has also left the team.

However, these changes have no impact on Harden’s value to the team. According to MacMahon, the Rockets want to get the most of the 31-year-old’s prime.

“What I can say is right now the Rockets are 100 percent committed to trying to cash in on James Harden’s prime. They consider him the best player in the league,” MacMahon told Adrian Wojnarowski on The Woj Pod.
