Klay Thompson set an NBA record as he knocked down 14 3-pointers for the Warriors in a 149-124 victory against the Bulls.
Thompson scored 52 points despite only playing in the first three quarters of the game. He shot 14-24 from beyond the arc.
He broke a record previously held by fellow “splash brother” Steph Curry, who hit 13 3-pointers for the Warriors in a victory against the Pelicans in 2016.
Thompson’s record still stands today and he will have the opportunity to attempt to break his own record next season, after missing the 2019-20 season while recovering from a torn ACL.
