Patrick Beverley hurled his very own pitch to convince James Harden to remain in Philly.

Beverley appeared for his official introduction as a brand-new Sixer, and he didn’t waste any time calling for the All-Star guard to reconsider his trade request.

“James I love you, bro. Stay!” Beverley said, per Ky Carlin of USA TODAY. “But yeah, James is a really good friend of mine. A really, really, really good friend of mine. Our moms (are) best friends. Me coming into the NBA with Houston, it was me and him. Six years, my star buddy. So I’m very familiar with James and I’m excited. I’m excited to kind of get it going. He knows I’m here. So we’ll see.”

Both Beverley and Harden got significant ties as they were teammates for five seasons in the Houston Rockets. And now, the veteran guard can only wish that they will ignite a reunion in the City of Brotherly Love.

Beverley, who split his 2022-23 season with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls, even admitted that Harden served as one of the reasons why he opted to ink a deal with the 76ers this offseason.

“One of my decisions just coming here is because James Harden is here,” he added. “So I hope he stays. I hope that everybody can kind of work something out and put that behind us and kind of move forward. I think it’s important.”
