Jared Dudley shared his thoughts on the possibility of the NBA starting the 2020/21 season on December 22.

The forward of the Los Angeles Lakers believes the top stars will skip games in the start of the season in order to rest.

“The show will go on, just don’t cry a river when stars sit out TV games… esp Top teams that played a longer full season,” the 2020 NBA champion with the Lakers tweeted.

If the season starts on December 22, the Lakers and the Miami Heat will have 71 days off between Game 6 of the Finals and the season opener.

Danny Green also addressed the issue, noting LeBron James could skip the start of the season in order to rest.
