Kevin Durant opened up about the opportunity to play for NBA Hall of Famer Steve Nash next season.
Nash became the new head coach of the Brooklyn Nets and Durant is ‘excited’ to play for him.
“I’m excited about coach Nash…I think he’s gonna build a culture in Brooklyn…having a former player walk the sidelines is always dope to see.
He’s a brilliant basketball mind but on top of that he’s a great communicator…everything he did on the court was efficient so hopefully he brings that mentality to our team,” Durant said during the Text Message Show for The Players’ Tribune with Dorell Wright.
The Nets are expected to be title contenders next season, with Nash as head coach and Durant and Kyrie Irving back to the lineup.
