LeBron James could cement himself as the GOAT if he wins the 2020 NBA title, according to one of his close friends.
The debate between James and Michael Jordan for the greatest player of all time remains ongoing and is not expected to end anytime soon.
“These Finals aren’t about LeBron versus the Heat. These Finals are about his legacy. If he wins, it cements him as the G.O.A.T,” said one person who’s known LeBron personally for years, via The Athletic.
James has won three NBA titles and is getting ready for earning his fourth one, as the Lakers will face the Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Finals.
Game 1 is on Wednesday.
