LeBron James shared an emotional look at his summer with son Bronny James, highlighting the time they spent together away from basketball.
The NBA star posted an Instagram reel Thursday featuring photos and videos from their golf outings.
The collection focused on the father-son moments that became a regular part of their offseason.
“Can’t tell you how special times like these are for me being a dad! S–t damn near had me in tears out there yesterday afternoon,” LeBron wrote. “Never had these moments growing up so it REALLY means EVERYTHING to me. LOVE BEING A DAD!”
The images were captured by former Lakers photographer Abigail Keenan Field, whom James also acknowledged for documenting the experience.
“Thank you for capturing the moment.”
Golf became a frequent activity for LeBron and Bronny during the summer.
They were spotted playing together after the Lakers’ playoff run ended, with Bronny’s swing attracting attention from NBA fans and even comparisons to Rory McIlroy.
Professional golfer Michael S. Kim also weighed in, describing Bronny as having “a really solid swing.”
Their time together carries additional significance with their basketball careers now heading in different directions.
LeBron left Los Angeles after eight seasons and signed with the Philadelphia 76ers during the offseason.
Bronny, meanwhile, is preparing for his third NBA season. It will be his first season since USC without playing alongside his father.
