The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was proud of his friend Carmelo Anthony in the wake of the series-ending win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Melo tabbed 27 points, becoming the second top scorer for the Blazers behind CJ McCollum as Portland fell 122-131 in Game 5 of the first round.

LeBron responded to Jared Dudley who tweeted: “Nothing but respect to Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum and the Rest of the Portland Trail Blazers! Helluva season coming from behind to make the playoffs! One of the best back courts in the NBA!”

“FACTS!!!! And proud as hell of my brother Carmelo Anthony doing what he did on his return!!” James tweeted.

McCollum also reacted to Dudley’s tweet with “Appreciate it brotha. Go get you a chip.”
