Carmelo Anthony recently weighed in on how he believes Stephen Curry might personally view the GOAT conversation, particularly when it comes to LeBron James.

Speaking from the perspective of elite competitors, Carmelo suggested that superstars tend to see the hierarchy through a very personal lens shaped by their own achievements and legacy.

According to Carmelo, if Curry were ranking the greatest players ever from his own point of view, it’s unlikely he would place LeBron ahead of himself.

He explained that players at that level usually hold a strong belief in their own standing among the game’s legends.

As Carmelo put it, “In Steph’s eyes, right, think about what Steph probably thinks. I don’t know, but he probably sits there and says, ‘It’s Mike, it’s Kobe, and then it’s me.’ Right? He’s not gonna put Bron over himself.”
