LeBron James and Anthony Davis led the Los Angeles Lakers to the semifinals of the Western Conference and made history.

The dynamic duo of the Lakers combined for 79 points in Game 5. James posted 36 points, along with 10 rebounds and 10 assists, while Davis added 43 points and nine boards.

James and Davis became the first Lakers teammates to score 35+ points in the same playoff game since Kobe Bryant (36 points) and Shaquille O’Neal (35 points) on June 9, 2002.

The Lakers won their first playoff series since 2012 and will now face either the Houston Rockets or the Oklahoma City Thunder (Houston leads 3-2) in the semifinals.
