The Los Angeles Lakers are preparing for the first-round playoff clash with Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Lakers get ready for the challenge of guarding Lillard, who is unstoppable in the “bubble”.
The star of the Blazers led his team to a 7-2 record in the seeding games and the play-in tournament, helping Portland reach the postseason.
Lillard exploded with 42, 51 and 61 points in three of those games, while he posted 31 in the clash with the Memphis Grizzlies, which secured the Blazers’ place in the playoffs.
“He’s ballin’ right now,” the Lakers star Anthony Davis said of Lillard, via The Athletic. “The hottest player in the league,” the Lakers coach Frank Vogel added.
Game 1 between the Lakers and the Blazers will take place on Tuesday.
