Luka Doncic is getting ready for his debut in the NBA playoffs and believes his EuroLeague experience will help him better adjust.
Before joining the Dallas Mavericks, Doncic dominated Europe and led Real Madrid to the EuroLeague title in 2018. Therefore, he is familiar with the intensity and the atmosphere of the playoffs.
“Yeah, it’s the playoffs. I’ve been in playoffs before, just in Europe. It’s not the same level but it’s the same emotions and I’m excited for it for sure.
I’m gonna lean on that. It’s tough to play in Europe too. A way higher level in the NBA but the same emotion, so you gotta be ready,” Doncic told reporters, via Eurohoops.net.
Doncic and the Mavericks will face the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs.
