Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 58 points, leading the Dallas Mavericks to a commanding 114-101 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, sealing the first-round series in Game 6.

The Slovenian superstar finished the game with 28 points and 13 assists, while Irving ignited in the second half with 28 of his 30 points to secure Dallas’ ticket to the second round.

Mavericks’ newcomers P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford contributed 14 and 13 points respectively.

Paul George led the charge for the Clippers with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Despite James Harden’s contributions with 16 points and 13 assists, the Clippers fell short, bowing out of the playoffs for the second straight season.

Ivica Zubac had a double-double for the Clippers with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Norman Powell added 20 points off the bench.

With the series now in the rearview mirror, the fifth-seeded Dallas is set to face the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference semifinals.
