Vlade Divac has officially stepped down as the General Manger of the Sacramento Kings, the team announced on Friday.
Divac failed to make the Kings a contender in the West and, therefore, he was relieved of his duties as GM of the team.
Joe Dumars will serve as interim executive VP of basketball operations and help with the search for a permanent GM.
Sacramento was eliminated from the playoffs after winning just three of their eight seeding games in the Orlando “bubble”.
